On Sports and Holy Week

This is perhaps one of my favorite weeks, (and months, for that matter), in the whole year.

It's a big week in sports:
NCAA Men's BB National Championship - tonight, April 6
Major League Baseball Opening Day - today
The Masters (golf) - starts Thursday, April 9th

But all of those pale in comparison to the greatest days of the year - Maunday Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. These are why we're here. Not to raise trophies and talk about defeat and victory but to lift high the cross and proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Ah, April...
